Independence Day

I have always enjoyed getting into the gimmicky side of holidays: I expend more effort than most in creating my Halloween costumes, my Christmas sweater and hand-knitted Santa hat are two of my most prized possessions, and I have been looking forward to the Fourth of July for weeks just to paint my nails and wear a cute patriotic outfit. Now that I have discovered Pinterest (greatest invention ever, right?) I have all sorts of themed ideas at my fingertips. Even though I haven't tried a lot of the specific things I see and pin, the many ideas on Pinterest inspire me to be more creative, especially when it comes to my nails. I experimented several days before to decide what I wanted to with my nails, and this is what I decided on. Now it's two days later, though, and I still have it on. There's nothing wrong with that, right?
